Learning Journal Unit 8. Consider Your Own Personal Top

Learning Journal Unit 8 Consider your own personal top five to ten ethical values that are your highest priority. Write in your journal what these ethical values are. Then, compose your own code of ethics; attempt to associate with each value, two example behaviors which reflect each value. I have really enjoyed my time in this course and I have learned a lot of things. I am sorry if at times I didn’t interact much with my colleagues on the discussion fora. I am grateful and thankful for your presence, guidance, and assistance during the last 8 weeks. Thank you very much for everything†¦show more content†¦8. To always act ethically and morally. 9. To never discriminate no matter the level of stress, chaos, or circumstances. 10. To always extend a helping hand to whomever needs it by adopting an attitude to serving, assisting, learning, leading, and empowering. 11. To always observe these ethical values and to apply them on a daily basis: honesty, trustworthiness, integrity, transparency, accountability, confidentiality, and professionalism. 12. To perform my duties duly, effectively and efficiently, by avoiding any conflict of interest, in order to promote the norms and values of the company I work for. 13. To promote and apply the core competencies of: communication, teamwork, planning and organizing, creativity, client focus, commitment to continuous learning, and technological awareness. (These are the core competencies of the United Nations that I am thankful and grateful to have taken part of in the past and that I dream of adhering to again in the near future). 14. To promote a culture of cooperation and sharing. 15. To avoid misconduct. 16. To be a good leader and a good role model. 17. To seek happiness and freedom, and empower others to believe in the same norms and values. As for the last question, I will associate two example behaviors that reflect integrity and trustworthiness.
